To provide an exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine capable of preventing an increase in PM accumulation amount by increasing an opportunity of regeneration of a GPF in the internal combustion engine having the GPF with a PM collection performance.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine includes: a particulate filter (GPF) collecting particulate matter (PM) in exhaust gas; an automatic transmission having a torque converter with a lock-up clutch; and a control device controlling the internal combustion engine to perform fuel cut during deceleration of the internal combustion engine when an oil temperature of lubrication oil (ATF) of the automatic transmission is higher than a determination value, and controlling the automatic transmission to engage the lock-up clutch during execution of the fuel cut. The control device estimates PM accumulation amount in the GPF, and when the accumulation amount exceeds predetermined first accumulation amount, the control device sets the determination value to a smaller value than that before the accumulation amount exceeds the first accumulation amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10

    【課題】PMの捕集機能を有するGPFを備える内燃機関において、GPFの再生機会を増やしてPM堆積量の増大を防ぐことのできる内燃機関の排気浄化装置を提供する。【解決手段】内燃機関の排気浄化装置は、排気中の粒子状物質(PM)を捕集するパティキュレートフィルタ(GPF)と、ロックアップクラッチ付きのトルクコンバータを備えた自動変速機と、内燃機関の減速中且つ自動変速機の潤滑油(ATF)の油温が判定値よりも高い場合にフューエルカットを行うように内燃機関を制御するとともに、フューエルカットの実行中にロックアップクラッチを係合するように自動変速機を制御する制御装置と、を備える。制御装置は、GPFへのPMの堆積量を推定し、その堆積量が所定の第一堆積量を超えた場合、堆積量が第一堆積量を超える前よりも判定値を小さい値に設定する。【選択図】図10
