To provide an operation support device which can be realized for a vehicle that changes a lane, can generate a recommendable travel track, and enables appropriate performance of operation support, and a computer program.SOLUTION: This device acquires a lane width of a road on which a vehicle travels, acquires a vehicle speed when the vehicle travels on the road, generates a recommendable travel track, in order that the vehicle changes a lane on the road on the basis of the lane width of the road and the vehicle speed under such conditions that an acceleration generated in the vehicle during lane change does not exceed an upper limit value, by a travel track including a clothoid curve, and performs operation support for the vehicle on the basis of the generated travel track.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15

    【課題】車線変更を行う車両にとって実現することが容易で且つ推奨される走行軌道を生成することが可能であり、運転支援を適切に実施することを可能にした運転支援装置及びコンピュータプログラムを提供する。【解決手段】車両が走行する対象となる道路の車線幅を取得し、車両が道路を走行する際の車速を取得し、車線変更中に車両に対して生じる加速度が上限値を超えないことを条件として、道路の車線幅と車両の車速に基づいて車両が道路で車線変更を行う為の推奨される走行軌道をクロソイド曲線を含む走行軌道により生成し、生成した走行軌道に基づいて車両の運転支援を行うように構成する。【選択図】図15
