To provide an in-vehicle power converter that can be miniaturized while realizing a shield function by a GND pattern.SOLUTION: At least an in-vehicle power converter installed in a vehicle powered by a motor includes a conductive housing with an opening, and a multi-layer printed wiring board on which a circuit component is mounted, and the multi-layer printed wiring board is assembled to the opening of the conductive housing to form a closed space by the multi-layer printed wiring board and the conductive housing, and the circuit component is housed in the closed space, and at least one layer of the multi-layer printed wiring board is a GND plane, the GND plane is electrically connected to the conductive housing, and the multi-layer printed wiring board includes a first insulating layer and a second insulating layer having a higher insulating resistance than the first insulating layer has, between at least the circuit board and the GND plane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
