To provide a U-shaped anti-skid device which eliminates a tightening work, that is performed by stopping travel and going to cold exterior of a car by automatization of the work, and for which an attachment/detachment work can be extremely easily performed.SOLUTION: A U-shaped anti-slip device comprises a U-shaped body (A) comprising an anti-slip part (1) arranged on a tread outer periphery of a tire and a back side leg part (2) and a front side leg part (3) which sandwich the front and back of the tire, and a separate disc fixing part (4). To the disc fixing part (4) fixed to a disc part of a tire wheel of the tire, the front side leg part (3) of the body (A) facing in a tire radial direction is connected via connection means having a check mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
