To provide a traveling scheduled route designation system capable of designating a smooth traveling scheduled route along an own vehicle lane even when there is a section where either or both of left and right lane delineation lines of the own vehicle lane does not exist.SOLUTION: A traveling scheduled route designation system includes a lane specification unit 31 that specifies a lane where a vehicle 10 is traveling, a detection unit 32 that detects as a specific section a section, where at least one of left and right lane delineation lines of the lane where the vehicle 10 is traveling does not exist, within a traveling scheduled section ranging from the present position of the vehicle 10 to a destination at a predetermined distance, and a route designation unit 34 that designates at least one candidate for a scheduled route, along which the vehicle 10 travels within the specific section, including a candidate that uses as a reference an existing one of the left and right lane delineation lines or a roadside, and designates as a scheduled route within the specific section a candidate, which exhibits the smallest curvature change at a junction with a scheduled route within a section preceding or succeeding the specific section or the smallest offset distance in a direction orthogonal to the advancing direction of the vehicle 10, out of the designated candidates.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】自車線の左右何れかまたは両方の車線区画線が存在しない区間が存在しても、自車線に沿った滑らか走行予定経路を設定することが可能な走行予定経路設定装置を提供する。【解決手段】走行予定経路設定装置は、車両10が走行中の車線を特定する車線特定部31と、車両10の現在位置から所定距離先までの走行予定区間内において、車両10が走行中の車線の左右の車線区画線の少なくとも一方が存在しない区間を特定区間として検出する検出部32と、特定区間において、左右の車線区画線のうちの存在する方または道路端を基準とする候補を含む、車両10が走行する予定経路の少なくとも一つの候補を設定し、設定した候補のうち、特定区間の前後の区間における予定経路との接続部における曲率変化または車両10の進行方向と直交する方向におけるオフセット距離が最小となる候補を、特定区間における予定経路として設定する経路設定部34とを有する。【選択図】図3
