To provide a vehicular drive device that is able to minimize a dimension in a radial direction in a configuration including a first shaft member and a second shaft member.SOLUTION: A vehicular drive device includes: a first shaft member 1 and a second shaft member 2; a first gear G1 and a third gear G3 that are coaxial with the first shaft member 1; a second gear G2 and a fourth gear G4 that are coaxial with the second shaft member 2 and engage with those gears; and a rotary electric machine MG1 having a rotor gear RG1 drivingly coupled to the first gear G1; wherein a transmission ratio of a power transmission path between the first gear G1 and the second gear G2 and a transmission ratio of a power transmission path between a third gear G3 and the fourth gear G4 are different; wherein a first engagement device 51 that connects and disconnects power transmission between the first shaft member 1 and the first gear G1, a second engagement device 52 that connects and disconnects power transmission between the second shaft member 2 and the second gear G2, and a third engagement device 53 that connects and disconnects power transmission between the first shaft member 1 and the third gear G3 are provided; and wherein the first engagement device 51 and the second engagement device 52 are arranged in different areas in an axial direction L.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
