To properly recognize a person.SOLUTION: A controller 20 as an object recognition controller includes: a picture data acquisition unit 21 for acquiring picture data taken by a camera 11 for imaging around a vehicle; a recognition processing unit 22 for determining that there is a person when a score which shows a possibility that there is a person in the picture data acquired by the picture data acquisition unit 21 is at least a threshold value; a person distribution information acquisition unit 23 for acquiring person distribution information around the vehicle; and a presentation processing unit 24 for presenting information of the person recognized by the recognition processing unit 22 to the driver of the vehicle. The recognition processing unit 22 changes the threshold value of the score on the basis of the person distribution information acquired by the person distribution information acquisition unit 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
