To connect a conductive part of a cable with a connection electrode at an end part of a flexible substrate with accuracy and with certainty, in a rotary connector.SOLUTION: A rotary connector comprises: a stator; a rotor provided so as to be relatively rotatable to the stator; a flexible substrate accommodated in an annular space between the stator and the rotor; a holding member that has a holding surface for holding one end of the flexible substrate; and a cable that has a conductive part and a coated part, the conductive part being connected with a connection electrode provided at the one end of the flexible substrate.
