To improve precision of a position at which a wiper reverses in response to occurrence of disturbance.SOLUTION: A motor unit comprises: a rotary shaft that positively and inversely rotates between two reversing positions; a rotary shaft sensor 65 that outputs an analog signal according to a rotation angle of the rotary shaft; a rotation angle calculating part 71 that calculates the rotation angle of the rotary shaft from the analog signal; a rotation direction calculating part 72 that calculates the rotation direction of the rotary shaft from the analog signal; a vector length calculating part 73 that calculates a vector length of the analog signal; a memorizing part 74 preliminarily memorizing an actual rotation angle of the rotary shaft measured by an external device and an ideal vector length that is a vector length in a state where there is no disturbance; a vector length error calculating part 75 that calculates a vector length error that is an error between the vector length and the ideal vector length, when the rotation angle of the rotary shaft is an angle corresponding to a prescribed position closer to a front side than the reversing positions; and a reversing position changing part 76 that changes the reversing positions, when the vector length error is out of a range of thresholds.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
