To provide a power distribution device for an electric vehicle that is able to distribute power, larger than power of a front wheel, to a rear wheel and is able to obtain stable behavior of the vehicle during braking.SOLUTION: A power distribution device for an electric vehicle is mounted on the electric vehicle including front and rear wheels, an electric motor for outputting power for traveling, and a mechanical brake for applying brake force to at least the front wheels. The power distribution device includes: a power distribution mechanism that distributes power, output from the electric motor, to the front wheel and the rear wheel; and a controller that controls the power distribution mechanism. The power distribution mechanism includes: a first clutch capable of fixing a power distribution ratio during straight traveling to a first distribution ratio; and a second clutch capable of fixing the power distribution ratio during straight traveling to a second distribution ratio. The controller brings the second clutch into an engaged state and brings the first clutch into a semi-engaged state during regenerative braking of the electric vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】前輪の動力よりも大きな動力を後輪へ配分可能であり、かつ、制動時において安定した車両の挙動が得られる電動車両の動力配分装置を提供する。【解決手段】前輪と後輪と、走行用の動力を出力する電動モータと、少なくとも前輪に制動力を及ぼす機械ブレーキとを備える電動車両に搭載される電動車両の動力配分装置である。そして、電動モータから出力された動力を前輪と後輪とに配分する動力配分機構と、動力配分機構を制御するコントローラとを備え、動力配分機構は、直進時の動力配分比を第1配分比に固定可能な第1クラッチと、直進時の動力配分比を第2配分比に固定可能な第2クラッチとを含み、コントローラは、電動車両の回生制動時、第2クラッチを係合状態とし、第1クラッチを半係合状態とする。【選択図】図2
