To provide an analysis method for a cognitive process for a remote ship operator, an analysis system for a cognitive process for a remote ship operator, and a design method for a remote ship operation system for improving safety of remote ship operation necessary in designing a remote ship operation system.SOLUTION: An analysis method for a cognitive process for a remote ship operator executes by using a computer 30: a scenario reading step S1 of reading a predetermined scenario for conducting an experiment of remote ship operation; a ship operation and wake data acquisition step S2 of acquiring and storing ship operation and wake data of simulated remote ship operation performed by a remote ship operator α by using ship operation means 10 on the basis of the scenario; line-of-sight data acquisition step S3 of acquiring and storing line-of-sight data of the remote ship operator α; and a scenario execution determination step S6 of determining if the predetermined scenario is executed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
