To provide a wireless communication system that performs directional wireless communication.SOLUTION: A wireless communication system for performing directional wireless communication includes a first device that is mobile and has an imaging unit and a wireless communication unit, and a second device that has a marker unit including at least three markers and a wireless communication unit. The first device includes a posture relationship identification unit that identifies the relative posture relationship between the first device and the second device based on the combination of at least two of the at least three markers of the marker unit imaged by the imaging unit, and a control unit that controls the position and posture of the first device to align the center axis of the wireless communication unit of the first device with the center axis of the wireless communication unit of the second device based on the posture relationship identified by the posture relationship identification unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
