To prevent frost from being formed on an external heat exchange part that absorbs heat of outdoor air to enable air conditioning to be efficiently performed before an occupant gets on a vehicle and after the occupant gets on the vehicle, when starting air conditioning before the occupant gets on the vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicular air conditioner is provided with: a refrigerant circuit including a compressor, an indoor heat exchange part and an external heat exchange part; an air conditioning unit in which the indoor heat exchange part is arranged; and a control device that controls the refrigerant circuit and the air conditioning unit. The refrigerant circuit has a hot gas bypass that decompresses at least a portion of a refrigerant compressed by the compressor and returns the portion to the compressor without going through the indoor heat exchange part and the external heat exchange part. The control device can selectively execute heat absorbing/heating operation by which heat of outdoor air is absorbed in the external heat exchange part and heating operation including hot gas heating operation by which the refrigerant is prevented from absorbing heat in the external heat exchange part and heat of the portion of the refrigerant compressed by the compressor is radiated in the indoor heat exchange part, which selects the hot gas heating operation, when connecting a charger to a vehicle, before an occupant gets on the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】乗員搭乗前の空調始動を行う際に、外気吸熱を行う外部熱交換部の着霜を防ぎ、乗員搭乗前空調及び乗員搭乗後の空調を効率良く行えるようにする。【解決手段】車両用空調装置は、圧縮機、室内熱交換部、及び、外部熱交換部を含む冷媒回路と、室内熱交換部を内部に配置した空調ユニットと、冷媒回路及び空調ユニットを制御する制御装置と、を備え、冷媒回路は、圧縮機で圧縮した冷媒の少なくとも一部を、室内熱交換部及び外部熱交換部を経由することなく減圧して圧縮機に戻すホットガスバイパスを有し、制御装置は、外部熱交換部にて外気吸熱を行う吸熱暖房運転と、外部熱交換部において冷媒に吸熱させず、圧縮機で圧縮した冷媒の一部を室内熱交換部で放熱させるホットガス暖房運転を含む暖房運転を選択的に実行可能であり、車両への乗員搭乗前であって、車両への充電機接続時には、ホットガス暖房運転を選択する。【選択図】図2
