To surely start an on-vehicle apparatus in an on-vehicle network having a new configuration.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle device is used in an on-vehicle network including a plurality of on-vehicle apparatuses. The on-vehicle device includes: a selection section which selects a power feeding object apparatus to be the on-vehicle apparatus to be fed with power from the plurality of on-vehicle apparatuses; an acquisition section which acquires start method information indicating a start method of each of the on-vehicle apparatuses; and a control section which performs start processing to start the power feeding object apparatus selected by the selection section on the basis of the start method information acquired by the acquisition section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
