To more properly detect avoidance behavior of a vehicle.SOLUTION: An avoidance behavior detection system for detecting avoidance behavior as behavior of a vehicle to avoid an obstacle on a road, determines that a vehicle has taken the avoidance behavior when a difference between a local maximum value of a yaw rate of the vehicle and a local minimum value next to the local maximum value is a first threshold value or more, a difference between a time when the yaw rate becomes the local maximum value and a time when the yaw rate becomes the local minimum value is a second threshold value or more, and a maximum value of inclination of the yaw rate between the local maximum value and the local minimum value is a third threshold value or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】より適正に車両の回避行動を検出する。【解決手段】車両が道路上の障害物を回避する行動としての回避行動を検出する回避行動検出システムであって、車両のヨーレートの極大値と極大値の隣の極小値との差分が第1閾値以上で、且つ、ヨーレートが極大値となった時間と極小値となった時間との差分が第2閾値以上で、極大値と極小値との間におけるヨーレートの傾きの最大値が第3閾値以上であるときに、車両が回避行動をとったと判定する。【選択図】図2
