To provide a new technique that can lengthen a detected distance of a white line.SOLUTION: A light distribution control method controls a vehicular lamp that can irradiate a front of a vehicle with light in accordance with information on light distribution patterns that are formed by the vehicular lamp. The method controls driving of the vehicular lamp so that the lamp irradiates a region further away from a region where a white line is detected based on information on images having the front of the vehicle photographed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
