To provide a rubber composition for tires that can express superior wear resistance while maintaining low rolling resistance for tires.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for tires contains rubber component, carbon black and silica. The carbon black satisfies following requirements: cetyltrimethylammonium bromide adsorption specific surface area (CTAB) is 130 m2/g or more; the ratio of CTAB (m2/g) to iodine adsorption amount (IA) (mg/g) (CTAB/IA) is 0.92 or more and 1.06 or less; and the hydrogen release amount is 3500 mass ppm or more and 4500 mass ppm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】タイヤの低転がり抵抗性を保持しつつ、優れた耐摩耗性を発現させ得るタイヤ用ゴム組成物を提供する。【解決手段】ゴム成分、カーボンブラック及びシリカを含有し、前記カーボンブラックは、セチルトリメチルアンモニウムブロマイド吸着比表面積(CTAB)が130m2/g以上、ヨウ素吸着量(IA)(mg/g)に対する前記CTAB(m2/g)の比(CTAB/IA)が0.92以上1.06以下、且つ、水素放出量が3500質量ppm以上4500質量ppm以下である、ことを特徴とする、タイヤ用ゴム組成物である。【選択図】なし
