To reduce unnecessary evacuation processing in an on-vehicle instrument operating with a battery.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle device 1, which operates using an on-vehicle battery 100 as a power source, comprises a voltage acquisition unit 21 that acquires a supply voltage supplied from the on-vehicle battery, an evacuation processing unit 26 that causes the on-vehicle device to perform evacuation processing to avoid malfunctions of the on-vehicle device, and a determination unit 25 that determines whether or not evacuation processing is required, based on the supply voltage. When the supply voltage is lower than a first threshold value, the determination unit 25 determines whether or not the evacuation processing is required, based on an initial voltage first acquired by the voltage acquisition unit 21 and a rate of decrease of the supply voltage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
