To provide a joint member capable of improving rigidity while suppressing the increase of weight.SOLUTION: A first joint member used for joining an instrument panel reinforcement to a vehicular body includes an upper side body fastening surface and a lower side body fastening surface to be fastened to a body. The first joint member is constituted so that the instrument panel reinforcement can be held. A line which is orthogonally crossed with a virtual plane connecting the upper side body fastening surface and the lower side body fastening surface, and passes through a center shaft extended in a vehicle width direction of the instrument panel reinforcement held by the first joint member is set as a virtual line. A distance from the center shaft up to virtual plane along the virtual line is a distance or less from the center shaft along the virtual line up to an outer circumferential surface of the instrument panel reinforcement, or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】重量の増加を抑制しつつ、剛性を向上させることができる接合部材を提供する。【解決手段】インパネリインフォースメントを車両のボディに接合するために用いられる第1接合部材は、ボディに締結する、上側ボディ締結面と、下側ボディ締結面と、を備える。第1接合部材は、上側ボディ締結面と下側ボディ締結面との間にインパネリインフォースメントを保持可能に構成されている。上側ボディ締結面と下側ボディ締結面とを結ぶ仮想平面に直交し、かつ、第1接合部材に保持された状態のインパネリインフォースメントの車幅方向に延びる中心軸を通る線を仮想線とする。仮想線に沿った中心軸から仮想平面までの距離は、仮想線に沿った中心軸からインパネリインフォースメントの外周面までの距離以下である。【選択図】図3
