To be able to reliably hold a rod and to enable such holding without being influenced by the diameter of the rod.SOLUTION: A magnet type holding member 3 is provided with: a magnet case 30 housing an electromagnet for attracting a rod 5; and a switch lever 31 that switches ON/OFF of the electromagnet. A ratchet type holding member 4 includes: a clamp member 40 that clamps the rod 5 between the clamp member and the magnet type holding member 3; a ratchet gear 41 rotatable together with turning of the clamp member 40; a ratchet pawl 42 that can be engaged with and disengaged from the ratchet gear 41 and locks reverse rotation of the gear; an operation lever 43; and a release lever 44 that releases the engagement of the ratchet pawl with the ratchet gear.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
