To provide a battery life prediction device and a battery life prediction method which can predict a battery life of a detection device that detects information concerning a state of a tire, with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A battery life prediction device, which predicts a life of a battery of a detection device that detects information concerning a state of a tire, comprises: an obtaining part (131) that obtains input data including a temperature of the tire, pressure of the tire, a value concerning voltages of the battery and use time of the battery; and a predicting part (133) that predicts, as the life of the battery, a value concerning voltages at a time after a predetermined period of time elapses in the future, using the input data and a prediction model. The prediction model is generated by machine leaning, using data for learning in which the temperature of the tire, the pressure of the tire, the value concerning voltages of the battery and the use time of the battery in result data are set as explanatory variables and the value concerning voltages of the battery at the time after the predetermined period of time elapses is set as an objective variable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
