The present invention relates to a rear wheel house having a crash member to display impact absorbing performance in case of a rear impact. The present invention provides a rear wheel house which can satisfy rear impact performance and increase luggage room capacity by arranging a crash member of a multiple flange connection structure to absorb rear impact energy in the rear of a rear wheel house panel to realize a new concept of a rear wheel house structure which can maximally secure luggage room capacity in addition to securing rear impact performance with a minimum weight increase amount.

    본 발명은 후방 충돌 시 충돌 흡수 성능을 발휘하는 크래쉬 멤버를 갖춘 리어 휠하우스에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 리어 휠하우스 패널의 뒷쪽에 후방 충돌 에너지 흡수를 위한 다단 플랜지 연결 구조의 크래쉬 멤버를 배치하여, 최소 중량 증가분으로 후방 충돌 성능 확보는 물론 러기지룸 용량을 최대한 확보할 수 있는 신 개념의 리어 휠하우스 구조를 구현함으로써, 후방 충돌 성능 만족 및 러기지룸 용량 증대를 도모할 수 있는 자동차의 리어 휠하우스를 제공한다.
