The present invention relates to a hollow drive shaft for a vehicle and a manufacturing method thereof. One object of the present invention is to improve durability by enhancing physical properties without an increase in the size of the drive shaft. Further, the other object of the present invention is to provide a hollow drive shaft for a vehicle and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the hollow drive shaft is enhanced in bidirectional-movement durability to cope with an external force exerted from the outside in the bidirectional-movement condition of an eco-friendly vehicle.

    본 발명은 자동차용 중공 드라이브 샤프트 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 드라이브 샤프트의 사이즈 증가 없이 물성치를 증대하여 내구 성능을 개선한 자동차용 중공 드라이브 샤프트 및 이의 제조방법을 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 또한 본 발명은 친환경 차량의 양진 조건시 외부에서 가해지는 외력에도 대응할 수 있도록 양진 내구 성능을 증대한 자동차용 중공 드라이브 샤프트 및 이의 제조방법을 제공하는데도 목적이 있다.
