According to the present invention, provided is an auxiliary signal apparatus for a crosswalk, which comprises: a plurality of auxiliary signal units respectively embedded in a longitudinal direction of a crosswalk so as to be protruded upward from the ground; and a control unit controlling the plurality of auxiliary signal units to be buried one by one along a moving direction of a pedestrian by interlocking with the remaining time of a gait signal when the gait signal is lighted on the gait traffic light. According to this, the pedestrian can quickly detect the change of the gait signal through the auxiliary signal unit and promptly determine whether to cross the road, thereby preventing a traffic accident in the crosswalk.

    본 발명에 따르면, 횡단보도의 일측에 설치되는 보행 신호등; 횡단보도의 길이방향으로 각각 매립되어 지면의 상측으로 돌출가능하게 설치되는 복수의 보조신호부; 및 보행 신호등에 보행신호가 점등될시 복수의 보조신호부가 지면의 상측으로 모두 돌출되도록 제어하며, 보행신호의 잔여시간과 연동하여 복수의 보조신호부를 보행자의 이동방향을 따라 하나씩 매립되도록 제어하는 콘트롤부;를 포함하는 횡단보도용 보조신호장치가 제공된다. 이에 의하면, 보행자가 보조신호부를 통해 보행신호의 변동상황을 빨리 감지하여 도로의 횡단여부를 신속하게 결정하도록 함으로써 횡단보도에서의 교통사고를 미연에 예방할 수 있다.
