Disclosed are a transmission control method for reducing clutch abrasion, and an automatic transmission controlled by the same. According to embodiments of the present invention, the transmission control method controls an automatic transmission being applied to a hybrid vehicle and having an independent flow control valve and an engine clutch cooling flow passage for cooling an engine clutch comprises: a hybrid starter generator (HSG) state determination step of determining a state of an HSG; a drive motor cranking step of cranking an engine by using a drive motor if the state of the HSG is an inoperable state in the HSG state determination step; and a cooling step which is simultaneously performed with the drive motor cranking step, and drives the independent flow control valve to supply an additional flow to the engine clutch cooling flow passage. According to the present invention, abrasion of the engine clutch can be reduced when performing cranking by the drive motor if the hybrid starter generator (HSG) cannot be normally operated.

    클러치 마모감소를 위한 변속기 제어방법 및 이를 통해 제어되는 자동변속기가 제시된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 변속기 제어방법은, 하이브리드 차량에 적용되고, 엔진클러치의 냉각을 휘한 독립유량조절밸브 및 엔진클러치 냉각유로가 장착된 자동변속기를 제어하는 방법으로서, HSG(Hybrid Starter Generator)의 상태를 판단하는 HSG상태 판별단계; HSG상태 판별단계에서 HSG의 상태가 작동하지 못하는 상태일 경우, 구동모터를 이용하여 엔진을 시동(cranking)하는 구동모터 시동 수행단계; 및 상기 구동모터 시동 수행단계와 동시에 실시되고, 독립유량조절밸브를 구동시켜 엔진클러치 냉각유로에 추가 유량을 공급하는 냉각 수행단계;를 포함하는 것을 구성의 요지로 한다. 본 발명에 따르면, HSG(Hybrid Starter Generator)가 정상 작동 불가한 경우 구동모터에 의해 시동을 수행함에 있어 엔진클러치의 마모를 저감시킬 수 있는 변속기 제어방법을 제공할 수 있다.
