The present invention relates to a shock-absorbable propeller shaft for a vehicle, wherein at least one shock absorbing unit is formed on a propeller shaft that is a power transmission shaft to absorb a shock without a change in a weight of the propeller shaft. Therefore, shock energy generated in a vehicle collision accident is autonomously absorbed in a longitudinal direction of the propeller shaft to prevent damage to a vehicle or an injury of a passenger due to an increase in a deformation amount caused by the shock absorbing unit in case of a collision. Moreover, without an additional component, an increase in fuel consumption can be prevented, and a collapse load can be reduced.

    본 발명은 충격 흡수가 가능한 차량용 프로펠러 샤프트에 관한 것으로, 동력전달축인 프로펠러 샤프트 상에 하나 이상의 충격흡수부를 형성하여 구성함으로써, 프로펠러 샤프트의 무게 변화를 주지 않으면서도 충격을 흡수할 수 있어서, 차량 충돌 사고시 발생하는 충격에너지를 프로펠러 샤프트 길이 방향으로 자체 흡수하여 충돌시 복수의 충격흡수부에 의해 변형량 증가로 인한 차량의 파손이나 탑승자 부상을 방지할 수 있고, 추가 부품이 없어 연료소비의 증가를 방지할 수 있으며, 붕괴하중을 저감시킬 수 있도록 구성된다.
