The present invention relates to a propeller protecting apparatus for a ship, which safely protects a propeller including a screw installed on a stern when the ship sails on the sea having nets, fishing banks and various marine floating matters or is berthed at a temporary dock having a lot of rocks and, more specifically, to a foldable propeller protecting apparatus for a ship, which can be applied to the next-generation fishing ground control ship. The foldable propeller protecting apparatus for a ship increases convenience and maintenance easiness in a hydraulic foldable method and improves a resistance element in case of high-speed propulsion and sailing, thereby allowing restoration and propulsion performance to be improved in a marine work environment.

    본 발명은 그물이나 어초, 그리고 각종 해상 부유물이 존재하는 해상을 항해하거나 암초 등이 많은 간이 선착장 등에 접안시 선미에 설치된 스크류를 포함하는 추진기를 안전하게 보호하기 위한 선박용 추진기 보호장치에 관한 것으로, 상세하게는, 유압식 접이방식으로 편의성과 관리 용이성을 높이고, 고속 추진 및 운항시 저항 요소를 개선함으로써 해상 작업 환경에서 복원성 및 추진 성능이 개선된 차세대 어장 관리 선박에 적용할 수 있는 선박용 접이식 추진기 보호장치에 관한 것이다.
