The present invention relates to a polyester tire cord which is made of polyester yarn, has at least 1.2 g/d of 5% LASE measured by ASTM D885 at 80°C, has at least 1.0 g/d of 5% LASE measured by ASTM D885 at 120°C, and has at least 65% toughness retention at 80°C and 120°C. The tire cord of the present invention has a modulus of elasticity equivalent to that of rayon even in a high-temperature environment of at least 120°C, and has excellent dimensional stability and heat resistance, thereby being able to be advantageously applied to a high-performance tire.
본 발명은 폴리에스터 원사로 구성되고, 80℃에서 ASTM D885에 의해 측정되는 5% LASE가 1.2 g/d 이상이고, 120℃에서 ASTM D885에 의해 측정되는 5% LASE가 1.0 g/d 이상이며, 80℃ 및 120℃에서의 터프니스 유지율이 65% 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리에스터 타이어 코드에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 타이어 코드는 120℃ 이상의 고온 환경에서도 레이온과 대등한 탄성률을 갖고, 치수안정성 및 내열성이 우수하여 고성능 타이어에 유리하게 적용될 수 있다.
