Disclosed are a vehicle load measuring apparatus for measurement of a vehicle load supported by an axle, a method thereof, and a variable axis control system including the load measuring apparatus. The load measuring apparatus of the present invention may measure a minute deformation when an axle of a freight vehicle with a changeable axle is deformed by a load weight while tensioning two points of the axle. In addition, provided is an auto-calibration method to calculate a proportional constant K between the deformation of the axle and the load on the axle. The vehicle load measuring apparatus comprises a load cell, a first and a second connector, a measurement terminal, and a control device.

    차축이 지지하는 하중을 측정하는 차량용 하중 측정장치와 그 방법, 그리고 하중 측정장치를 구비한 가변축제어시스템이 개시된다. 본 발명의 하중 측정장치는 가변축이 설치된 화물차량의 차축이 적재하중에 의해 변형되면서 차축의 두 지점 사이가 인장될 때의 미세한 변형량을 측정할 수 있다. 또한, 차축의 변형량과 차축 하중 사이의 비례상수 K를 구하는 오토 캘리브레이션 방법을 제시한다.
