실시 예에 의하면, 교류 전원으로부터 공급되는 교류 신호를 직류로 변환하여 차량용 배터리에 충전시키는 차량용 충전 장치는, 교류 신호를 필터링하고, 필터링된 결과를 출력하는 입력 필터와, 필터링된 결과를 정류하고, 정류된 결과를 제1 직류 신호로서 출력하는 정류부와, 제1 직류 신호를 이용하여 차량용 충전 장치의 역률을 보상하고, 역률 보상된 결과를 제2 직류 신호로서 출력하는 역률 보상부와, 제2 직류 신호의 레벨을 변화시켜 배터리로 출력하는 레벨 변환부와, 정류부의 온도를 감지하고, 감지한 결과를 제1 감지 온도로서 출력하는 제1 온도 감지부와, 레벨 변환부의 온도를 감지하고, 감지한 결과를 제2 감지 온도로서 출력하는 제2 온도 감지부 및 제1 또는 제2 감지 온도 중 적어도 하나에 응답하여 역률 보상부 또는 레벨 변환부 중 적어도 하나를 제어하여, 배터리에 충전되는 전력량을 조정하는 제어부를 포함한다.

    The present invention provides a charging apparatus for a car, which converts an AC signal supplied from an AC power to a DC signal and charges a car battery with the same. In particular, the charging apparatus comprises: an input filter which filters an AC signal and outputs a filtering result; a rectifier which rectifies the filtering result and outputs the rectified result as a first DC signal; a power factor correction unit which corrects a power factor of the charging apparatus for a car by using the first DC signal and outputs a power-corrected result as a second DC signal; a level modulation unit which modulates the level of the second DC signal to output the same to a battery; a first temperature detection unit which detects a temperature of the rectifier and outputs a detected result as a first detected temperature; a second temperature detection unit which detects a temperature of the level modulation unit and outputs a detected result as a second dectected temperature; and a control unit which controls at least one of the power correction unit or the level modulation unit in response to at least one of the first or second detected temperatures, to control the amount of power being charged to the battery.
