Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for identifying a target towing object and a target object to be towed. The method for identifying a target towing object and a target object to be towed comprises the steps of: a) obtaining location information of a plurality of targets in a preset target sea area through an automatic identification system (AIS) and a radar; b) calculating motion vectors of the plurality of targets using the obtained location information of the plurality of targets; c) setting any one target among the plurality of targets as a reference target; d) setting a search target among the remaining targets excluding the set reference target; and e) identifying whether a relationship between the search target and the reference target is a towing-towed relationship using the calculated motion vectors. According to the present invention, it is possible to identify a target of a towing structure and a towed structure in operation among targets obtained through the AIS and the radar.

    예인 및 피예인 물표 식별 장치 및 방법이 개시된다. 예인 및 피예인 물표 식별 방법은, a) 자동선박식별장치(AIS: Automatic Identification System) 및 레이더(RADAR)를 통해 미리 설정된 대상 해역에서 복수의 물표의 위치정보를 획득하는 단계, b) 획득된 복수의 물표의 위치정보를 이용하여 복수의 물표의 움직임 벡터를 산출하는 단계, c) 복수의 물표 중 임의의 한 물표를 기준 물표로 설정하는 단계, d) 설정된 기준 물표를 제외한 나머지 물표 중에서 탐색 물표를 설정하는 단계 및 e) 산출된 움직임 벡터를 이용하여 탐색 물표와 기준 물표 사이의 관계가 예인-피예인 관계인지 여부를 식별하는 단계를 포함한다.
