본 발명은 주차 보조 시스템에 의하여 주차 가능한 공간에 자동 주차가 이루어질 때, 차량의 측부와 인접한 장애물(예를 들어, 연석)의 높이를 측정하고, 높이 측정 결과 차량이 장애물을 넘어 그대로 통과 가능한 높이로 판정되면, 자동 주차시 차량의 동선 공간을 장애물을 넘어선 공간까지 보다 넓게 확보할 수 있도록 한 주차 보조를 위한 장애물 높이 측정 시스템을 제공하고자 한 것이다.

    A system for detecting a height of an obstacle for parking assistance, may include a distance measurement module including a distance sensor measuring a distance from an obstacle existing at a side of a vehicle and a wireless transmitter wirelessly transmitting a detecting value of the distance sensor; a wireless receiver receiving the detecting value of the distance sensor from the wireless transmitter; and a controller determining a height of the obstacle on the basis of the received detecting value.
