The present invention relates to a new structure of a regenerative braking system for a rear wheel drive vehicle, which is equipped in a rear axle housing (1) of the rear wheel drive vehicle to effectively control the vehicle's behavior. The regenerative braking system for the rear-wheel drive vehicle according to the present invention includes left and right regenerative braking units (20, 30) respectively provided in left and right shaft chambers (3, 4) of an axle housing. When a driver turns a steering wheel (11) to cause a steering shaft (12) to rotate left or right, the left or right regenerative braking unit (20, 30) operates to generate electricity. Therefore, the regenerative braking system can improve the fuel efficiency of the vehicle using the electricity generated, thereby supporting the turning of the vehicle to the left or right.
본 발명은 후륜구동차량의 리어액슬하우징(1)에 구비되어 차량의 거동을 효과적으로 제어할 수 있도록 된 새로운 구조의 후륜구동차량용 회생제동시스템에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 후륜구동차량용 회생제동시스템에 따르면, 액슬하우징에 구비된 좌우측 샤프트챔버(3,4)에 각각 좌우측 회생제동유닛(20,30)이 구비되고, 운전자가 핸들(11)을 돌려 스티어링샤프트(12)가 좌우방향으로 회전되면, 좌측 또는 우측 회생제동유닛(20,30)이 작동되어 발전을 하게 된다 따라서, 이와 같이 발전된 전기를 이용하여, 차량의 연비를 향상시킬 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 차량이 좌측 또는 우측으로 더욱 원활히 선회하도록 지원할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
