노변에 설치하는 고정식 적외선 센서로부터 획득된 데이터 분석을 통해 노면온도의 급격한 변화시점을 파악하고, 결빙 탐지 알고리즘을 통해 노면의 결빙을 간단하게 탐지할 수 있으며, 또한, 도로상의 결빙 취약구간에 저가의 고정식 적외선 센서만 설치하여 노면의 결빙을 탐지함으로써 전국적으로 광역적인 구간의 정보 수집원으로 활용할 수 있는, 적외선 센서 기반의 노면온도 데이터를 이용한 노면 결빙 탐지 시스템 및 그 방법이 제공된다.

    A road surface freezing detection system using road surface temperature data based on an infrared sensor and a method thereof are provided to grasp a sudden change point of road surface temperature through data analysis obtained from a fixed infrared sensor installed on a roadside, to simply detect the freezing of the road surface through a freezing detection algorithm, and to utilize as an information collecting source of a wide area section nationwide by detecting the freezing of the road surface by installing only a low-priced fixed infrared sensor in a freezing vulnerable section on the road surface.
