The present invention relates to a submarine propulsion system and method using a hydrogen engine. more specifically, comprising: unify concept of a fuel depot as hydrogen storage alloy. the fuel depot which seperated from a existing conventional submarine to a diesel oil storage tank and a hydrogen storage alloy ,thereby unifying and better maintain and repair of the fuel depot. Thus, it is possible to efficient space arrangement of the submarine.
