Disclosed are an apparatus for improving propulsion efficiency, and an installation method thereof. The apparatus for improving propulsion efficiency comprises: a pre-swirl stator coupled with a stern boss; and an inserted protrusion unit protruding from the stern boss and inserted into a root unit of the pre-swirl stator when the pre-swirl stator is coupled with the stern boss. The apparatus for improving propulsion efficiency can easily dispose the pre-swirl stator, increase a coupling strength between the pre-swirl stator and the stern boss, reduce shaking of the pre-swirl stator coupled with the stern boss, reduce work processes and work hours, and easily perform welding.

    추진효율향상장치 및 설치방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 추진효율향상장치는 스턴 보스와 결합하는 전류고정날개; 및 상기 스턴 보스에 돌출 형성되고, 상기 전류고정날개가 상기 스턴 보스와 결합할 때 상기 전류고정날개의 루트부에 삽입되는 삽입돌기부를 포함한다.
