Provided is an LED traffic light which comprises: an LED traffic light body having a front panel having a light diffusing sheet and a light converting sheet coated with a reflective material on a front surface of the traffic light and a rear panel confronting with the front panel and fixed to a rear surface of the front panel; a plurality of LED light emitting elements mounted in the rear plate and emitting a predetermined color; and a conversion sheet attached to the front plate in a state of being in close contact with the front plate to diffuse light of a predetermined color emitted from the LED light emitting element, and converting the light of a predetermined color into light of another color. Further, the LED traffic light emits blue light as red, green, and yellow light through the conversion sheet coated with red, green or yellow phosphors, respectively. Therefore, the LED traffic light can have high efficiency with electric power with lower energy consumption power comparing to an existing traffic light, and can have an excellent effect of visibility and heat dissipation due to a surface light source.

    본 발명은 상기 LED 신호등은 전면에 광확산 및 광변환시트에 반사물질이 코팅되어 부착된 전면판, 상기 전면판과 대치되어 후면에 고정된 후면판으로 이루어진 LED 신호등 본체와 상기 후면판의 내부에 장착되어 소정의 색을 발광하는 복수의 LED 발광소자 및 상기 전면판과 밀착된 상태로 부착되어, 상기 LED 발광소자에서 발광하는 소정의 색의 광을 확산시킴과 동시에 또 다른 색의 광으로 변환시키는 변환시트로 이루어진다. 또한, LED 신호등 본체 내부에 청색LED 발광소자를 배치하여 청색광을 적색, 녹색 또는 황색 형광체가 도포된 변환시트를 통해 각각 적색, 녹색, 황색으로 발광하여, 기존 신호등 대비 낮은 에너지 소비전력을 가지고 고효율을 낼 수 있고, 면광원을 이루어 시인성과 방열효과가 우수한 효과가 있다.
