Disclosed are a system and a method for purging nitrogen of a ship. The system for purging nitrogen of a ship of the present invention includes: a fuel supply system unit provided on the ship and supplying liquefied petroleum gas to an engine for propulsion of the ship as fuel; a re-liquefying unit re-liquefying boil-off gas generated from a cargo tank of the ship and supplying the same to the cargo tank; and a nitrogen generator provided on the ship and generating nitrogen, wherein the nitrogen generated in the nitrogen generator is pressurized in the re-liquefying unit to be supplied so as to purge the fuel supply system unit in case of shutdowns of the fuel supply system unit.

    선박의 질소 퍼징 시스템 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 선박의 질소 퍼징 시스템은, 선박에 마련되며 액화석유가스를 상기 선박의 추진용 엔진에 연료로 공급하는 연료공급시스템부; 상기 선박의 카고 탱크로부터 발생하는 증발가스를 재액화하여 상기 카고 탱크로 공급하는 재액화부; 및 상기 선박에 마련되며 질소를 생성하는 질소 생성기; 를 포함하고, 상기 연료공급시스템부의 셧다운(shutdown) 시, 상기 질소 생성기에서 생성된 질소는 상기 재액화부에서 가압되어 상기 연료공급시스템부를 퍼징(purging)하도록 공급되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
