Disclosed is a cold start control method of a fuel cell, comprising the following steps: determining whether a cold start condition is satisfied upon the starting; estimating the thawing energy required to thaw the frozen water inside a fuel cell stack when the cold start condition is satisfied; calculating a thaw control state of charge (SOC) of a high voltage battery based on the estimated thawing energy; and when the SOC of the high voltage battery is below the thawing control SOC, heating cooling water inside a cooling water line for cooling the fuel cell stack using a heater supplied with power from the high voltage battery.

    시동 On시, 냉시동 조건을 만족하는지 여부를 판단하는 단계; 냉시동 조건을 만족한 경우, 연료전지 스택 내부의 빙결된 수분을 해빙시키는데 요구되는 해빙 에너지를 추정하는 단계; 추정한 해빙 에너지를 기반으로 고전압 배터리의 해빙 제어 SOC(State Of Charge)를 산출하는 단계; 및 현재 고전압 배터리의 SOC가 해빙 제어 SOC 이하인 경우, 고전압 배터리에서 전력을 공급받은 히터를 이용하여 연료전지 스택을 냉각시키는 냉각수 라인 내부의 냉각수를 가열하는 단계;를 포함하는 연료전지의 냉시동 제어방법이 소개된다.
