The present invention relates to a system (device) for managing parking using a computer vision technology and a method thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to the system for managing parking based on a computer vision capable of operating a parking lot at low costs by replacing a vehicle number recognition with a vehicle recognition, a vehicle tracking, and the like, wherein in a logical configuration, is replaced with the vehicle recognition and vehicle tracking using an artificial intelligence of a vehicle number recognizer, a vehicle recognition sensor, and the like which require high costs in purchase, installation, and operation in a mechanical configuration, and determining whether or not a vehicle is pre-registered for which could not be discriminated in an existing parking management system using MOD and MOT; and the method thereof. The system for managing parking based on the computer vision comprises: a camera; a detection part; a communication part; and a determination part.

    본 발명은 컴퓨터 비전 기술을 활용한 주차관리 시스템(장치) 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로는 기계적 구성에 있어서는 구입, 설치, 운영 등에 있어 높은 비용을 필요로 하는 차량번호인식기, 차량인식센서 등의 인공지능을 활용한 차량인식 및 차량추적으로 대체하고 논리적 구성에 있어서는 차량번호인식을 차량인식, 차량추적 등으로 대체함으로써 저렴한 비용으로 주차장을 운영하는 한편, 기존 MOD 및 MOT를 활용한 주차장 관리 시스템에서 판별할 수 없었던 사전등록 차량 여부를 판단할 수 있는 컴퓨버 비전 기반 주차관리 시스템 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다.
