The present invention relates to a technology for automatically controlling a crane, and more particularly to a system for automatically controlling a crane and an operation method thereof, capable of automatically controlling a crane to automatically perform a process of lifting an object to be lifted and move the same to a target point. The system for automatically controlling a crane includes a first image capturing unit; a second image capture unit; an input unit; and a crane control unit.
