A braking method and device for an electric scooter using an eddy current brake are presented. The braking device for an electric scooter using an eddy current brake proposed in the present invention comprises: a disc which is mounted to rotate like the wheel of the electric scooter and is a conductor; an eddy current braking unit connected to a foot brake unit and generating braking force using reverse torque generated by eddy current induced by the interaction between the magnetic field of a permanent magnet and the disc; and the foot brake unit which is connected to a main frame of the electric scooter, controls the position and speed of the permanent magnet of the eddy current braking unit, and supplements the braking force of the eddy current braking unit through a friction plate.

    와전류 브레이크를 이용한 전동킥보드용 제동 방법 및 장치가 제시된다. 본 발명에서 제안하는 와전류 브레이크를 이용한 전동킥보드용 제동장치는 전동 킥보드의 바퀴와 같이 회전하도록 장착되고 전도체인 디스크, 풋 브레이크부와 연결되고, 영구자석의 자기장과 상기 디스크와의 상호작용으로 유도되는 와전류에 의해 발생하는 역방향 토크를 이용하여 제동력을 생성하는 와전류 제동부 및 전동 킥보드의 메인 프레임에 연결되어 상기 와전류 제동부의 영구자석의 위치와 속도를 제어하고, 마찰판을 통해 와전류 제동부의 제동력을 보완하는 풋 브레이크부를 포함한다.
