The purpose of the present invention is to estimate actual ship operating conditions for each ship speed to derive cavitation test conditions through resistance and self-propulsion tests of a large cavitation tunnel. The present invention provides a self-propulsion test method for a submerged body with a propeller in a large cavitation tunnel, wherein the DARPA Suboff submarine released by the David Taylor Research Center (DTRC) of the U.S. is selected as a target submerged body, a resistance test is performed in a large cavitation tunnel, a self-propulsion test of the DARPA Suboff submarine is performed based on the resistance test results, and the actual ship performance is estimated.
본 발명은 미국 해군 연구소(DTRC)에서 공개한 DARPA Suboff 잠수함을 대상 몰수체로 선정하여 대형 캐비테이션 터널에서 저항 시험을 수행하고, 상기 저항 시험 결과를 기반으로 DARPA Suboff 잠수함의 자항 시험을 수행하며, 실선 성능을 추정하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 대형 캐비테이션 터널에서의 프로펠러 장착 몰수체 자항 시험 방법을 제공한다.
