According to the present invention, an AAF system (1) comprises: a sensor input unit (20) for detecting a distance from a front vehicle (200) located in front of a vehicle (100); a control unit (40) for operating a driving unit (30) in response to a vehicle operation signal generated from an active air flap optimal control parameter to which an outdoor air temperature/vehicle speed/intake air temperature/cooling water temperature/refrigerant pressure are applied together with the distance from the front vehicle; and the driving unit (30) for driving an active air flap (10). The control unit (40) variably controls an opening of the active air flap (10) in an air flow rate control method based on the distance from the front vehicle, so that the amount of air introduced into an engine room during platooning can always be optimized. In particular, the combination of a plurality of sensors including the active air flap (10) and a radar sensor prevents part heat damage and solves the problem of and trade-off of vehicle aerodynamic force reduction due to the amount of air introduced through optimized air flow rate control.

    본 발명의 AAF 시스템(1)은 차량(100) 전방에 위치한 전방 차량(200)과 갖는 전방차량과의 거리를 감지하는 센서입력부(20); 전방차량과의 거리와 함께 외기 온도/차량 속도/흡기온도/냉각수온도/냉매압력을 적용한 액티브에어플랩 최적 제어 파라미터로부터 발생된 차량 작동 신호에 응답하여 구동부(30)를 작동시켜주는 제어부(40), 및 액티브에어플랩(10)을 작ㄷ옹시켜 주는 구동부(30)를 포함하고, 상기 제어부(40)가 전방차량 거리 기반 공기유량제어 방식으로 액티브에어플랩(10)의 개구부를 가변 제어함으로써 군집주행 시 엔진룸으로 유입되는 공기 유입량이 항상 최적화될 수 있고, 특히 액티브에어플랩(10)와 레이더 센서를 포함한 복수개 센서의 조합으로 공기유입량에 따른 부품 열해 방지와 차량 공력 감소의 트레이드 오프(trade-off)의 문제가 최적화된 공기유량제어로 해소되는 특징을 갖는다.
