Attitude control was the key to helicopter flight control which was the internal loop of speed and trajectory control. So, design of the helicopter attitude controller was the focus in the article. Firstly, the explicit model and inverse model module in traditional explicit model control systems was discussed. Then, the feedback compensation module was improved by the closed-loop gain shaping algorithm (CGSA). Finally, compared to the traditional explicit model following control (EMFC) controller, the controller designed in this paper had a simpler and more efficient structure which was easy to implement in engineering and had promotional value.
