A simulated annealing (SA) based re-entry control system is suggested for an Assured Crew Re-entry Vehicle (ACRV) with low lift/drag ratio (0.3). The control law is built on a PID controller that has been tuned with SA method. The control signal will be close to an identical comparable control, and the system state will continue to be in a reference attitude. A trajectory controller controls the reference attitude and steers the vehicle along a predetermined path. The reference vectors for the attitude controller are provided by the trajectory controller and navigation system collectively. To assure the system's efficacy, the Simulated Annealing tuned PID (SA PID) controller is compared with Proportional Integral (PI), Proportional Derivative (PD), and Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controllers. When constructing the feedback controller, the structural parametric uncertainties and environmental turbulences are taken into consideration. The sensitivity of the system is evaluated using distinctive thrust torque profiles. Using a Pulse-Width-Pulse-Frequency (PWPF) modulator, the attitude controller modifies the thrust torque delivered at the vehicle. According to the simulation findings, the suggested technique is successful in meeting the various requirement criteria.
