The diversity techniques (STBC, MRC) with multiple antennas provide better reliability than general system. But there are some limitations, such as, size, cost, hardware complexity, etc, because of multiple antennas. In this paper, we propose the modified space time coded cooperative scheme by amplify-and-forward (AF) to overcome those limitations. To evaluate the performance of proposed techniques, the OFDMA uplink system is considered.
