In recent years, industries have experienced significant changes in vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications. Vehicle-to-vehicle communication can enhance the safety of vehicles by signaling other vehicles using blockchain technology. Vehicle-to-vehicle communication has become increasingly important due to the frequent occurrence of traffic accidents and the close sharing of data in today's information age. In view of the importance of blockchain technology for vehicle-to-vehicle communication, the development trend of blockchain technology is first analyzed, and the necessity of vehicle-to-vehicle communication is further elaborated so as to analyze the commonly used blockchain communication technologies. Then, the development and future of Telematics and the scalability of vehicle collaboration technology are elaborated. Then, the existing blockchain and Telematics communication combined technologies are discussed to ensure intelligent transportation and secure communication for vehicular communication. Finally, the future research directions of blockchain vehicular communication are summarized and outlooked.
