This study concerns the issue of the use of fuels used in world transportation globally. The resulting effect of the use of fuel is reduction of world fuel reserves and the effect of air pollution on the environment that can affect the health of the world community. At this time vehicles that are widely used are conventional vehicles with internal combustion engines. Where these conventional vehicles produce high exhaust emissions. With the demands of vehicle industry to make environmentally friendly vehicles. One of them is by making a hybrid vehicle that combines a conventional engine and an electric motor. In this study using a hybris engine as research material. This study shows the fuel consumption of hybrid engine that has been made into an engine stand. Using petalite fuel. With variations speed of 20 km/h, 30 km/h, 40 km/h, 50 km/h, 60 km/h, 70 km/h, 80 km/h, 90 km/h, 100 km/h, 110 km/h, 120 km/h and 130 km/h for 60 minutes. The test result show that the higher speed, higher fuel consumption. And it can be seen that the engine’s hybrid system works at low speed.
