With the continuous development of society and the acceleration of urbanization, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), as a key technology to improve transportation efficiency and safety, have become the core of modern transportation management. This paper proposes an intelligent railway transportation system solution based on the information fusion of the "Beidou" satellite navigation system and the railway transportation system, aiming to improve the positioning accuracy and scheduling efficiency of railway transportation. Firstly, the basic principles and positioning characteristics of the "Beidou" satellite navigation system were explained, and its potential application in railway transportation was analyzed. By combining trajectory estimation algorithms with railway track information, the positioning information of the Beidou satellite navigation system has been revised and optimized, significantly improving positioning accuracy and real-time performance. The simulation results show that the application of information fusion technology in railway transportation systems can effectively solve the accuracy problem of traditional positioning systems, especially exhibiting high positioning accuracy in straight sections.
